Santiago Bueno is a new injury doubt for Wolves after pulling up on international duty with Uruguay this week.
The 26-year-old played the full 90 minutes in his nation’s last fixture - a 0-0 draw with Ecuador on October 16 - but he may have to wait for his next cap. Uruguayan radio station Sport890 reports Bueno has picked up a small muscle strain and is a doubt for Saturday’s clash with Colombia.

Wolves will be sweating on the news that Bueno has picked up an issue as the Old Gold are currently enduring a defensive injury crisis. Yerson Mosquera is out for the rest of the season with an anterior cruciate ligament tear, Bastien Meupiyou is still lacking fitness and Toti Gomes is struggling to see out 90 minutes each week.

Bueno started the recent 2-0 win over Southampton in the Premier League, crucially freeing up Rayan Ait-Nouri in a more advanced position as Toti moved across to left-back. Gary O’Neil has preferred operating in a back four and that may not be so possible if Bueno is confirmed to be unavailable.
Following on from the first win of the new season, Wolves will be desperate to build momentum in their next fixtures, away at Fulham and at home against AFC Bournemouth.
