Hide AdWolverhampton Wanderers now know their opening encounter will be against Manchester United at Old Trafford, while the final clash of the campaign will be away at Liverpool.
Both the start and end of the season look rather tough for Wanderers but confidence will be taken from Julen Lopetegui’s side managing to confidently survive relegation after an early scare in 2022/23.
Not all the fixtures will remain on the dates outlined, however, as various opponents’ commitments to the Europa League and Europa Conference League will make Saturday kick-off times impossible.

Hide AdWhich Wolves fixtures will be moved?
As it stands, the group stage matches for both Europa competitions will be played between September 21 and December 14, with games every two or three weeks.
The teams in the Premier League who will take part are Liverpool, Brighton & Hove Albion, West Ham United and Aston Villa.
Wolves’ trip to Anfield on September 16 is safe but the hosting of Villa on Saturday, October 7 will definitely be changed to Sunday or Monday – as long as Villa get to the group stage.

Even if Brighton make it out of the Europa League group stage, the knockout rounds don’t begin until the end of February, so the January 13 visit to the Amex Stadium won’t change.
The Villa away game on March 30 is also absolutely fine as no Europa Conference League matches will be played that week, regardless of how far Unai Emery’s side progress.

Hide AdWest Ham keeping their European tour alive until the semi final stage could put Wolves’ home game on April 6 against the Hammers at risk, but the season finale at Liverpool on May 19 will be fine.
Fixtures impacted: Aston Villa (H) on October 7; West Ham (A) on December 16; West Ham (H) on April 6.
