Wolves are expected to finalise a significant deal almost 48 hours on from the winter transfer deadline.
Vitor Pereira worked his magic throughout January and into the early days of February, securing two important new additions to his defence as well as one fresh midfield member.

At 27 years of age, the central defender is in his prime and has taken to the Premier League like a duck to water, completing all 90 minutes in the past four English top-tier matches.
Two more acquisitions were completed on deadline day as Marshall Munetsi and Nasser Djiga were announced just over an hour after the 11pm cut-off. Munetsi, a central midfielder also from Reims, signed for a fee believed to be in the region of £17 million. Djiga, on the other hand, was purchased for around £10 million from Serbian club Red Star Belgrade.

Munetsi was a staple in Reims’ midfield for five successive seasons and was recently named the man of the match in a 1-1 draw away at French giants Paris Saint-Germain. Djiga, meanwhile, played every possible minute for Red Star in the Champions League earlier this campaign. The 22-year-old was targeted by Premier League dark horses Nottingham Forest.
Arguably the most important piece of business wasn’t even a new addition as Matheus Cunha put pen to paper on a new contract. Wolves’ talisman was the subject of intense interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Forest but the Old Gold managed to tie him down on a new long-term deal.

Wolves to complete post-deadline transfer
The window in England may have already shut but that doesn’t necessary mean the complete close of business for Wolves. Mario Lemina, the club’s former captain, is still expected to depart after Super Lig outfit Galatasaray agreed a £2.5 million deal to lure him away from Molineux.
As the Turkish transfer window remains open for another six days - closing on February 11 - there’s still plenty of time to get Lemina’s move over the line. Barring any late changes, the Gabon international will put pen to paper on his Galatasaray contract imminently.
Lemina has been outcast at Wolves over the past few weeks. The Old Gold have been keen to move on their £9 million signing following unprofessionalism and a lack of commitment. Lemina, the club’s former captain, refused to play against Newcastle United after requesting a transfer in January, before apologising to Pereira and his teammates.

Lemina has made more appearances for Wanderers than any other team in his career and he had built a superb relationship with the fanbase, but those memories have now been tarnished to a great extent.
