It was a summer of chopping and changing at Wolves, as they parted company with some of their high-profile stars, and their manager.
Players needed to be offloaded to help keep them within the parmeters of Financial Fair Play, and that meant some of their high earners needed to be moved on. Ruben Neves fronted up the business as he was sold for nearly £50m, and became one of the many world superstars to head to the Saudi Pro League.
His international teammate Joao Moutinho meanwhile left on a free transfer which meant the midweek had an overhaul, and then both Nathan Collins and Raul Jimenez ended up leaving, and so went some of the stars that helped them reach the Europa League.
Wolves for a majority of the summer had been left frustrated in their pursuits of some of their transfer targets, including Alex Scott who was meant to be heading to them, but instead went to AFC Bournemouth.
It left Julen Lopetegui with no choice but to leave, and he was swiftly replaced by Gary O'Neil, who has coped well so far with some mixed results.
Funds then became available to O'Neil, who was allowed to bring in some players who have big potential. Some of those who have left however could have definitely helped out O'Neil in some departments with squad depth.
If you're interested as to where some of these players ended up then look no further. Flick through the pages to see where some of your Wolves heroes went.
There's some interesting outcomes for some of these players, especially the younger players who were so highly thought of, but have now gone on to a different path in their footballing career, including a 17-year-old once bought for £1m.
