Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters will remember the 2017/18 season with great fondness as Nuno Espirito Santo came in and led the club back to the Premier League after a six-year spell in the Championship.
Winning the title with a club-record 99 points, Wolves finished the campaign with 30 wins and nine draws in 46 matches. Diogo Jota, now of course at Liverpool, was the highest league scorer with 17.
Ruben Neves was another player who stood out, as his €10 million move from Porto has since proved to be one of the best bits of business Wanderers have ever done.
Incredibly, though, Neves is one of just two players to have started games during that campaign to still be contracted to the football club.
So, where are the other 20 now, in 2023? BirminghamWorld has taken a look so you don’t have to.
