Wolves have conceded seven goals so far - the same number as league leaders Arsenal. Despite this, it seems as if they could bolster their defensive options further in January with the signing of Alexander Djiku from Strasbourg.
According to Ghanasoccernet, the Old Gold are interested in bringing the centre-back to Molineux in the January transfer window.
The site claims Wolves were close to signing Djiku in the summer, but a deal ‘fell through in the eleventh hour’.

Hide AdBorn in Montpellier, France on 9 August 1994, Djiku is a Ghanian international with 17 caps to his name.
The 28-year-old began his career at Bastia, initially playing for their B team before making his first team debut in their 2-1 Coupe de la Ligue defeat to Evian. He went on to make 51 appearances for the Blues in all competitions, scoring once.
Djiku joined Caen in 2017, where he was a regular for the club before being snapped up by Strasbourg two years later.
Current form
The centre-back has started all of Strasbourg’s eight Ligue 1 games so far and is averaging a rating of 7.20, as per SofaScore.

The 28-year-old played in Ghana’s 3-0 international friendly defeat to Brazil on Friday and is likely to feature in their match against Nicaragua on Tuesday evening.
How likely is the deal to go ahead?
A move for Djiku is likely, especially with him out of contract next summer and Strasbourg’s current league form.
The French side are without a win in their opening eight games - the only team in Ligue 1 to not secure a victory so far.
