Wolves will complete the signing of Jorgen Strand Larsen on a permanent basis after the attacker passed the threshold of matches played to trigger a purchase clause.
The Old Gold have been seriously impressed with Strand Larsen’s involvement over the past five months and are more than happy to pay the £23 million fee required to tie him down for the long-term.

The 19-time Norway international has scored seven and assisted a further three across all competitions so far. Birmingham World understands Strand Larsen will put pen to paper on a new contract to keep him at Wolves until June 2029.
How Wolves will benefit from signing Jorgen Strand Larsen
Capable of playing as an out-and-out centre-forward or off either flank, Strand Larsen has proven himself as not only a handy target man but also a decent dribbler in behind. His link-up play with Wolves’ star man, Matheus Cunha, has been a joy to behold and that’s even been with the Old Gold misfiring for much of the campaign.
New manager Vitor Pereira benched Strand Larsen on one occasion - away at Tottenham Hotspur - but that was to protect him against injury after several matches in quick succession. The 24-year-old is expected to be Wolves’ first choice striker for many more years to come.

Celta don’t have the option to recall the striker before he joins Wolves for good, so, barring any injuries, he will be available to help keep his side in the top flight.
