Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester City have formally agreed on two transfers with Matheus Nunes heading to the Etihad Stadium and Tommy Doyle coming the other way.
The Athletic reports a final £53.2 million offer with no add-ons has been accepted by Wolves for Nunes. Wanderers will receive 10 per cent of any profit City earn if the midfielder is sold.

In a ‘return the favour’ fashion, the Cityzens have allowed Doyle to move to Wolves on a season-long loan transfer. There has been a £4.3 million option-to-buy clause included in the deal.
Gary O’Neil’s side were adamant last week that no more key players, including Nunes, would be able to leave Molineux this summer but a record sale has been enough to persuade.
The 25-year-old played 41 times for Wanderers since signing from Sporting Lisbon in a deal worth around £42 million. Just a year later, he moves on for an £11.2 million profit.
Who is imminent Wolves signing Tommy Doyle?
Still just 21 years of age, the current England U21 international has made just seven senior appearances for Man City but has had three loan spells, two of which were successful.

His first was a failed move to Bundesliga 2 side Hamburger SV as he played just 150 minutes but he then went to Cardiff City, scoring twice and assisting three times in 19 matches during 2021/22.
Last term, Doyle was a key player for Sheffield United as the Blades went on to be promoted back to the Premier League. He played 38 times for the Blades, directly contributing to 11 goals.
