It’s a game that will, one way or another, have a detrimental affect on the outcome of the Premier League campaign for these two sides.

Wolves are desparate for a win to keep their hopes of European football in 2022 alive whilst anything less than a victory for City will allow Liverpool to edge their way back into the title picture.

Man City injury news

Guardiola will be without three defenders at the very least for the trip to Molineux with a fourth in Nathan Ake also expected to miss out.

Ruben Dias, John Stones and Kyle Walker have all been ruled out for the season with injury whilst Ake is currently nursing an issue which could see him miss the trip to the Black Country.

“Nothing changed after the game against Newcastle,” explained Guardiola in regards to the current injuries.

“We are who we are and are going to last three games with the players we have and go for it.

“We have problems in other departments, but the others are going to solve it.”

The City boss also admitted that Fernandinho could be utilised as a stand-in centre-back if Ake is unable to suit up on Wednesday evening.
