According to Fabrizio Romano, Wolves agreed a fee of €18million with the German side on Monday afternoon with Kalajdzic traveling to England soon after to complete all the formalities.

Bruno Lage has been wanting a new forward at the club ever since he arrived at Molineux in 2021 and he finally gets his man with just two days remaining of the 2022 summer transfer window.

Boly replacement already lined up

And Wolves appear to be strengthening at the other end of the pitch, too, with former Manchester City and Celtic defender Jason Denayer expected to sign in the coming days.

Denayer is a free agent after leaving Lyon meaning that a move for him could be completed after the window closes on September 1.

The 27-year-old who plays for Belgium at international level made over 100 appearances for Lyon in Ligue 1 and will provide a solid replacement for Willy Boly who looks set to join Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest.

Reports suggest that the Belgian has been offered a three-year deal at Molineux.
