It’s safe to say it’s been a quiet summer so far for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Tumbleweed bounding across the ground would be a fitting video for the transfer activity that has taken place to date - especially in regards to incomings.
Hwang Hee-chan did technially sign on a permanent deal this summer following his loan spell from RB Leipzig but away from that it’s been disappointment after disappointment.
But whilst patience isn’t in the dictionary of us as football fans - we are still in June - and there is plenty of time to get deals done.
It’s no secret that Wolves need to strengthen, their already threadbare squad has only been getting thinner so far and recruitments are needed.
There have been links, not an endless amount, but there have been some. And it’s safe to say a few could still develop in the coming weeks.
BirminghamWorld have looked through all of the latest rumours and judged which ones actually have some legs to them and those that don’t.
Each player has been ranked and rated based on how likely they are to sign for the club, from very unlikely, to very likely.

5. Ruben Neves - Possible
OK, Neves is technically a Wolves player and remains under contract as one but nailing him down to a new deal would be as good as any new signing. It’s possible that they still manage to keep the Portuguese star with interest quietening from rivals in recent days. | Getty Images

6. Robert Renan - Possible
Young Corinthians defender Renan has emerged as a potential target for Wolves over the last few days. The 20-year-old is being monitored by a number of Europe’s elite including Borussia Dortmund but it’s possible Wanderers are able to offer more should they wish. | twitter.com/talkingwolves

7. Duje Caleta-Car - Possible
Marseille’s Croatian centre-back was a target for Wolves last summer but could easily become one again, this. He has one year left on his contract at the French club who are keen to cash in before they lose him on a free next year. | AFP via Getty Images

8. Matheus Nunes - Likely
Call us optimistic but we still think it’s likely a deal for Nunes gets done at some point this summer. It’s been evident for a long while that he’s been Wolves’ number one target and we may see it finally happen in the month of July. | Getty Images
