Crystal Palace and Wolves are said to be interested in signing Juventus forward Samuel Iling-Junior according to HITC Sport, and could sign him if they consider parting with their best players.

The Serie A club will look to sell him in the summer and are hoping that they can use him as a makeweight in a potential deal for one of Wolves players. Juventus are interested in signing Michael Olise and Pedro Neto and might use Iling-Junior to bring the price down.

It is reported that Iling-Junior could be sold for around £16m and could return to England with Brighton & Hove Albion as well as West Ham watching over him. The 20-year-old has made 33 appearances for Juventus’ first-team with four assists and two goals.

There is an acceptance from Juventus however that Neto should he depart Molineux is likely to leave for one of the Premier League’s big-hitters. Arsenal and Spurs have been linked with a move over the last week and transfer guru Fabrizio Romano expects him to depart when the season is over.

Iling-Junior was part of Chelsea's academy before he moved to the Italian club in 2020. Iling-Junior is yet to make his debut for the England national team but he has made three caps for the under-21's side. He is predominantly a winger and can play on both sides but can also be deployed as a left-back, left or right forward, attacking midfielder or central midfielder.

In other news, Wolves might be without Cunha for an extended period after his national team manager ruled him out of next month's international fixtures.

Brazil manager Dorvial Junior does not expect to have Cunha available to him next month. Cunha has been out since the start of the month with a ‘significant’ hamstring injury in which he suffered against Brentford.

Seleção Canarinha face England and Spain in friendlies at Wembley Stadium and the Santiago Bernabeu in March. The matches are to be played on March 23 and March 26 and so that would likely rule Cunha out for a further five games at least.

Speaking earlier this month, Junior said: “In particular, some players who had slightly more serious injuries, such as Alisson, Matheus Cunha, Joao Pedro and even Neymar, are totally removed from any possibility at this moment...'

Cunha has been one of Wolves' leading players this season with 11 goals and seven assists in 28 games in all competitions. He scored against Midlands rivals West Brom in the Black Country Derby at the end of January and marked the moment with an iconic celebration.
