Scottish Premier League side Rangers have been offered the chance to sign forgotten Wolves striker, Patrick Cutrone.

The 24-year-old, who joined Wanderers back in the summer of 2019 from Italian giants AC Milan, has made just 28 appearances for the black and gold over his three-year spell to date and could be handed a career lifeline by the 2021 Scottish champions.

This is according to Football Scotland who claim the Wolves hierarchy have ‘circulated’ Cutrone’s name to Gers in a bid to spark some interest and hopefully recoup some money for the striker who is entering the final year of his contract at Molineux.

However, the outlet go on to state that it’s highly unlikely that it will be a move that Giovanni van Bronckhorst pursues, that is unless their curret hitman Alfredo Morelos is moved on.

Cutrone spent last year on loan with Serie B side Empoli, helping them earn promotion back to Italy’s top flight.

It was well publicised that that North London club made a move for the Spaniard back in the January transfer window with Traore opting to turn them down for his more favoured option which was Barcelona.

Spurs looked to have moved on this summer following the addition of Middlesbrough’s Djed Spence but 90min report [via footballtransfertavern] that Conte’s interest remains.

If Tottenham are to make a move for Traore, it would likely spell the end for former Wolves man Matt Doherty who left Molineux to join Spurs back in the summer of 2020.
