Premier League calendar year table 2023: Wolves’ stunning finish compared to Chelsea, Tottenham, Everton, Nottingham Forest and rivals

A look at the Premier League table in 2023 as a whole reveals shocking statistics for Wolves, Chelsea, Tottenham, Nottingham Forest and Everton.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have been quietly impressive over the last 12 months or so, first blossoming under Julen Lopetegui to avoid relegation by a large distance last campaign and now thriving under the progressive tactics of Gary O'Neil in 2023/24.

Fans are well aware of their general team's success, especially recently as Wolves have won their last three matches on the bounce. What the Molineux faithful might not be aware of, however, is just how well Wanderers have done on a more consistent basis.

The odd run of poor form is natural for any side and Wolves have had these, making their overall 2023 seem slightly less majestic. A lack of fight for European football - which is expected, of course - also means they've gone under the radar of fans elsewhere in the country.

Some clubs haven't done as well, though, with Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Nottingham Forest falling below expectations. Spurs have improved ten-fold under Ange Postecoglou but the first half of 2023 goes down as majorly disappointing.

But how do all the teams mentioned compare for total points throughout 2023? And how do all 20 clubs in the division stack up? Birmingham World has taken a look at the data so you don't have to, creating this Premier League calendar year table in the process.
