Pedro Neto decision as Lopetegui drops winter signing - Wolves predicted XI gallery v Fulham
Here’s how we predict Wolves’ starting lineup to look against Fulham in the Premier League on Friday.
Wolverhampton Wanderers are back in Premier League action on Friday evening as they head away to the English capital to take on Fulham. Julen Lopetegui’s men face quite the challenge as the Cottagers have been the division’s surprise package this season and they are very much in Europa League contention.
Wolves’ last outing ended in a painful 1-0 defeat as AFC Bournemouth achieved a smash-and-grab win at Molineux. Wanderers had so many opportunities to score but their goalscoring woes returned to bite them in a crucial relegation six-pointer. They will now be eager to put things right in yet another huge game.
Fulham were victorious in a big clash of their own as they beat Brighton & Hove Albion 1-0 away from home. Just like Bournemouth, the Cottagers claimed all three points despite not getting much of the ball whatsoever; Manor Solomon’s 88th-minute winner was only Fulham’s second shot on target of the game but it was decisive.
Fear may strike for Lopetegui and his team as they prepare to face yet another team effective at absorbing pressure. Wolves will likely be forced to play in front of Fulham for much of the game and so might have to switch things up a little to allow for a breakthrough.
With that in mind, here is the starting XI we think Wanderers will go with on Friday evening, in a 4-2-3-1 formation. See below.

1. Wolves predicted XI vs Fulham
From the goalkeeper through to striker, here are the 11 players we think Lopetegui will select vs Fulham.

2. GK: Jose Sa
Been at nowhere near his prime this campaign but is still the first choice goalkeeper ahead of Daniel Bentley.

3. RB: Nelson Semedo
One of the most improved players under Lopetegui and doesn’t look threatened for a place in the team.

4. CB: Craig Dawson
Continues to keep Nathan Collins out of the side after some good showings. It was a loss to Bournemouth - yes - but the Cherries only had one shot on target.
