He is set to become their second signing of the summer following the arrival of Rodrigo Gomes from S.C. Braga for a reported £12m. Lima's move will be announced next week on July 1 when he turns 18 with everything in place. A deal was agreed with Sport Recife and he will join on a five-year contract with the option of an extra year
Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte are now reporting the finer details of the deal and have revealed that Lima will fly to England on Saturday to conclude his move. Wolves will pay in total €7m for Lima which will be spread across two years with €4.2m to be paid in December 2024. Another payment of €2.8m will be made in December 2025 and Sport Recife will also have a sell-on-fee of around 12.5%.

Hide AdLima's imminent arrival will make a current first-team player happy after he played a role in his signing. Matheus Cunha is one of Wolves' leading players and he said that Lima has a 'bright future' and said he would be there with him to guide him through things with much hype surrounding the teenager.
‘Pedro Lima is a talent, he has a bright future,” said Cunha earlier this month whilst away on international duty.
“He is from Paraiba who comes to Recife and has a very similar story to me. I wish him the best.

Cunha added: “We can talk a little on the field, try to exchange shirts, but of course, wishing him all the best, he is a boy who deserves it, who fought for it and thank God it started. May it be a bright future for him.
‘I think he leaves here at a time where he has a big spotlight, he is a boy who has a very big projection, that everyone expects a lot from him, but things don’t always happen the way we think they should happen.

‘And he needs to have humility to recognise the moments of doubt, difficulties, which when you leave here are great. And may he have a lot of patience to reach the highest level of football. And may everything go well for him, as he is someone we will be rooting for a lot.’
