Nottingham Forest team news

It is hoped that Danilo will return to training in December after suffering an injury on the opening day of the season. He underwent successful surgery to address the broken ankle he suffered just eight minutes into the campaign.

Ryan Yates was an absentee in the defeat to Newcastle United on Wednesday. He was due to play but was withdrawn just before kick-off because of illness.

“Yates was ill,” revealed Espirito Santo.

“He had a problem with his stomach and he could not participate. He was due to start the game against Newcastle. But he did not feel well.”

Out: Danilo. Doubt: Ryan Yates.

Wolves team news

Nelson Semedo is back and available for selection after serving the third and final game of his suspension. He was sent off against Liverpool on the final day of last season and the club opted not to appeal against the decision.

Enso Gonzalez and Sasa Kalajdzic are long-term absentees. Gonzalez suffered an ACL injury representing Paraguay at the Olympic Games. The 19-year-old will be out of action for nine months after undergoing surgery earlier this month.

Austrian forward Kalajdzic suffered the same injury in February during his loan spell with Eintracht Frankfurt. He isn’t expected to return to training until December and won’t be named in Wolves’ 25-man squad.

A new injury concern for Wolves to contend with is Boubacar Traore who came off in the 45th minute for Mario Lemina. He has some pain in his knee but Gary O’Neil said in his post-match press conference on Wednesday night it would be too early to say how serious it is. According to French outlet L'Equipe, a £12.6 million bid from Feyenoord was rejected him, which is something to keep an eye on ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline.

Out: Enso Gonzalez, and Sasa Kalajdzic. Doubt: Boubacar Traore.
