Newcastle United and Crystal Palace target Wolverhampton Wanderers starlet

Rayan Ait-Nouri is attracting interest from Premier League clubs.

Rayan Ait-Nouri has become Wolverhampton Wanderers’ first choice wing-back in recent weeks and has made seven starts in the Premier League this season.

The 20-year-old’s impressive form - that has seen him pick up three clean sheets in two weeks - has attracted interest from both Newcastle United and Crystal Palace.

According to Jeunes Footeux, the Premier League duo are monitoring Ait-Nouri’s situation, with Paris Saint-Germain also expressing interest in the defender.

Prior to Ait-Nouri’s arrival at Molineux Stadium, Jonny Otto was first choice at wing-back for the West Midlands club, however the Spaniard suffered an ACL injury for the second time in eight months back in April and has been sidelined eversince.

The Frenchman only signed a five-year deal with Wolves in July of this year and so are likely to reject any bid made - unless they received an offer in excess of £30m.

Ait-Nouri is now regarded as one of the most promising young full-backs in football and so it would take a lot to prise him away from Bruno Lage’s grip, however the Magpies takeover and increasing wealth may give them an advantage in their pursuit.

Ait Nouri will travel to the Etihad Stadium this weekend as Wolves take on Manchester City.

After conceding only four goals in their last seven fixtures Bruno Lage’s side will be hopeful of keeping out the current Premier League champions.
