Liverpool v Wolves: Early injury news as four out and three doubts

Wolves are Liverpool's opponents as Jurgen Klopp bids goodbye to the club in his final Premier League fixture.
It was announced a few months ago that Klopp would be ending his rein as Reds boss. It was hoped by the home faithful that Klopp would be waving goodbye by being involved in a final day clash for the Premier League title but instead, they can finish neither higher nor lower than third.

Hide AdWolves won't be going sentimental and will want to finish the season on a high after a disappointing end to the campaign. Their 2-1 win over Luton Town at the end of April was their one and only win in ten games and they've lost seven games in that time frame.
A top-half finish is still a possibility but a series of results would have to go in their favour to achieve it. Brighton play Chelsea on Wednesday (May 15) night and Wolves would have to hope for a defeat there as well as losses for in-form Crystal Palace and Bournemouth on the final day.
Gary O'Neil has had to navigate through a tricky period with injuries and some players have played their last game of the season. Here's the latest injury and team news ahead of kick-off.
Wolves team news
Craig Dawson and Leon Chiwone are both ruled out through their respective injuries. Dawson needed surgery for a groin problem that appeared during March and then Chiwone sustained an ankle injury in training. Pedro Neto is hoping to play a part in their final day fixture after spending the last few months on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

Out: Craig Dawson and Leon Chiwone. Doubt: Pedro Neto.
Liverpool team news
Joel Matip is out with an ACL injury. He's not played since early December and isn't expected to return until September. Thiago Alcantara has been limited to just 10 minutes of league action this season with a hamstring injury. His season is all but over and potentially his Anfield career with his contract expiring in the summer.
In one piece of good news for the Reds, Andy Robertson is back in training. The Scotland international could play a part in Liverpool's final match under Klopp but more importantly, he will want some game time ahead of Scotland's preparations for EURO 2024.
“I saw him this morning and he told me he is ready to train from tomorrow on,” said Jurgen Klopp in his post-match press conference after drawing 3-3 with Aston Villa on Monday night.
“That's the situation.”
