Wolverhampton Wanderers kick off their FA Cup campaign away at holders Liverpool this weekend. Wolves have enjoyed a slight upturn in form of late, and visit an out of sorts Liverpool team.

Following weeks of poor form, Julen Lopetegui’s men have picked up four points in their last three matches. On Boxing Day they grabbed a last gasp win away at fellow strugglers Everton.

Following a narrow defeat at home to Manchester United, they drew away at West Midlands rivals Aston Villa. Meanwhile, Liverpool head into the cup match off the back of a disappointing 3-1 defeat away at Brentford.

They have however won their last two matches at Anfield. The fixture is one of several all Premier League ties in the FA Cup third round.

Wolves will be hoping to continue their slight improvement in form with what would be a big cup victory. The game is one of six which have been selected for live coverage this weekend.

Manchester United’s match against Everton and Chelsea’s trip to Manchester City have also been picked for TV broadcast. Here’s what you need to know about this weekend’s game and how to watch it on TV.

How to watch Liverpool v Wolves on TV

Wolves trip to Anfield will be shown live on Saturday, January 7 with an 8pm kick off. The match will be broadcast on ITV 4 and ITV X.
