European football expert delivers exciting Goncalo Guedes revelation following Wolves move

Goncalo Guedes becomes the third permanent signing at Molineux this summer.

Well known broadcaster and writer Andy Brassell says Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed a player who on his day, is ‘as good as it gets,’ in Goncalo Guedes.

The club confirmed the transfer of the Portuguese winger from Valencia on Monday evening for a fee believed to be in the region on £30million and Brassell thinks this could be a bargain if the gold and black get the best of the 25-year-old.

Speaking to talkSPORT as their European football expert, he said: “For Wolves I think Guedes will be absolutely fantastic.”

“They need that little bit of extra bang up front, maybe they could be in a bit of trouble if they’re not scoring goals.

“He’s someone who can play as a striker or as a winger, lightning quick, on his day as good as it gets.”

Guedes is coming off the best season of his career over in La Liga. The former Paris Saint-Germain man made 36 appearances, scoring 11 goals in all competitions.

He also managed more minutes (2,690) than ay any other time in his career.

The 25-year-old will wear number 17 for Wolves in the coming season.
