Cunha handed new role as Lemina replacement chosen - Wolves predicted XI gallery v Bournemouth

Here’s how we predict Wolves’ starting lineup to look against AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are back on home soil this Saturday afternoon as they play host to fellow relegation battlers AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League. Julen Lopetegui’s side have finally found some momentum, winning their last two games and soaring five points above the bottom three.

It was late jubilation for traveling Wanderers supporters last weekend as their team came from behind to win in the dying embers against Southampton. Despite going down to 10 men following a second yellow card for Mario Lemina, Wolves fought on and showed remarkable character to claim all three points.

Fans will be excited to see their side return to Molineux on Saturday as the last home game saw Liverpool thrashed 3-0 on what was a famous day for Wolves. There is particular optimism for this weekend as Bournemouth are in a desperate situation and seem to be there for the taking, quite frankly.

Without a win in their last seven league outings, the Cherries are one point deep in the relegation zone, down in 19th. They had started the season well - even breaking into top half contention for a brief period - but things have really gone downhill since the World Cup.

There was a slight improvement as they held Champions League hopefuls Newcastle United to a 1-1 draw at the Vitality Stadium last time out, but Gary O’Neil’s side very much remain in a rut. With confidence heading into this one, we think Lopetegui could experiment a little. With that in mind, here is our predicted XI for the clash – in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
