Chelsea will be looking to bounce back from their shock 1-0 defeat at Everton when they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge this Saturday (7 May).

Thomas Tuchel was left to bemoan another individual mistake following the loss at Goodison Park – Cesar Azpilicueta losing possession on the edge of his own penalty area – which has left them anxiously looking over their shoulder in the race for a top-four place.

The Blues were without a number of key men for the trip to Merseyside, including Andreas Christensen, Ross Barkley, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ben Chilwell.

Christensen and Barkley both missed the game through illness, although both should be available for selection against Wolves this weekend.

Hudson-Odoi has been out for a number of weeks due to a back issue, and isn’t likely to return for the game against Bruno Lage’s side.

There is hope though that the winger could be back in contention to return for the FA Cup final against Liverpool later this month.

Ben Chilwell suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury back in November, and has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
