Chelsea have emerged as a potential landing spot for Wolves winger Adama Traore, according to reports.

The 26-year-old who has a year left on his deal at Molineux has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur throughout this summer but in a surprise turn of events, it’s Spurs’ rivals Chelsea that could sneak in at the last.

Norwegian journalist Andreas Korssund from the outlet amta.no, states that the Blues are ‘considering’ an offer for the pacey Spaniard with Thomas Tuchel apparently ‘a huge fan of the player.’

The report also claims that if Chelsea were to make a move for Traore, it would be with a view to him playing at right-wing-back - the main thing that put him off joining fellow London side Spurs in January.

Tuchel and the hierarchy at Stamford Bridge are yet to open talks with the player whose services will cost around £15million, if a club are to pursue a move before September 1.
