Wolverhampton Wanderers have had a busy January transfer window with five deals completed and another set to be finalised soon, but they may not be done just yet. Julen Lopetegui has made a decent squad overhaul so far, with Matheus Cunha, Mario Lemina, Pablo Sarabia, Craig Dawson and Daniel Bentley all signing.
Brazilian wonderkid Joao Gomes is set to follow shortly after a long stand-off with Lyon finally came to an end. The 21-year-old is set to sign for Wanderers from Flamengo for a fee of around £15 million, adding further depth in the middle of the park at Molineux.
Following the recent departures of Romain Saiss, Marcal, Leo Bonatini and John Ruddy without any transfer fees, Wolves could now consider delving into the free agent market themselves. After all, there are a number of high-profile stars entering the final months of their contracts.
