Wolves are in Premier League action again at Molineux as they face out-of-form Nottingham Forest. The hosts have had one day extra rest after beating Burnley at Tuesday night, meanwhile the Reds suffered a heavy defeat to Fulham, which has piled the pressure on manager Steve Cooper.
Hwang Hee-chan's 42nd-minute goal gave Gary O'Neil's side the victory the Clarets, whilst Forest couldn't get going against the Cottagers. Alex Iwobi, Raul Jimenez and Tom Cairney were all on target in West London with Forest unable to issue a response. In the aftermath of the defeat, club owner Evangelos Marinakis's accreditation pass was found in a bush on the way out from the game. Manager Steve Cooper - who according to reports is expecting the sack - received support from the Forest fans, despite the large margin of defeat.
Forest have won just one of their last 11 games, and they have slipped down the table into 16th in the league standings. Three places and five points separate 13th-placed Wolves and Forest, and a win for O'Neil's men could propel them into the top-half of the table as they search for back-to-back wins. Wolves picked up four points against Forest last season, winning 1-0 at home, and then drawing at the City Ground in April. In the last 10 meetings between the two sides, Forest have won just twice and Wolves five times.
It'll be interesting to see whether the day's extra rest for Wolves will help them in the match. Several players have injury concerns, and goalkeeper Jose Sa is one player who's status is doubtful. Here's all the latest team news for Wolves and the Reds.
