Wolves v Burnley team news - as four players out and four doubts

Team news and injury updates ahead of Wolves v Burnley in the Premier League.

Wolves are dealing with several doubts ahead of their midweek Premier League clash with Burnley.

Gary O'Neil is working with a small squad, and so injuries and suspensions mean that at times, the squad can be stretched to their limits. Last time out, Wolves lost to Arsenal, and in the build-up to the match, several players had been doubts for the match, whilst one star had to be subbed off in the defeat at the Emirates.

Tuesday's opponents Burnley are in good spirits however, as they won 5-0 against relegation rivals Sheffield United. Jay Rodriguez, Jacob Bruun Larsen, Zeki Amdouni, Luca Koleosho and Josh Brownhill all got in on the action as they blew away the Blades. Burnley move off of bottom spot but in the grand scheme of things, they're still in the relegation zone and are two points adrift of 17th-placed Luton Town.

Six places and eight points separate 13th-placed Wolves and 19th-placed Burnley. WOlves don't have the best of records against Burnley and you have to go back to September 16, 2018 for the last time that they claimed victory against the Lancashire outfit. Five years have elapsed since their last win and in that time, they've lost five and drawn twice in the seven matches they've played against each other.

Both managers have some decisions to make. Joao Gomes and Mario Lemina are set to return having served their one-match ban after picking up five yellow cards, whilst one Clarets player has fallen foul to the rule, and will miss the trip to Molineux.

Here's all the latest team news for Wolves and the Clarets including a recent suspension.
