Wolves consider £50.4m transfer decision as Celtic and Rangers hover
Wolves could consider parting ways with £50.4m of talent in the January transfer window, according to reports. It's less than a week until clubs can conduct transfer business again, and whilst there isn't an expectation of much business at Molineux, several of their players have been spoken about for possible departures.

Hide AdAccording to Football Insider, Scottish Premiership giants Rangers are considering making a move for Fabio Silva. The 21-year-old is Wolves' club record signing having joined for £35m from Porto in 2020, but now they could be willing to cut their losses after it was said they are 'willing to listen to offers' amid Rangers interest.
Rangers' Old Firm rivals Celtic are interested too, as well as several other clubs.Despite their stature in the game, both Celtic and Rangers do not hold massive record transfer fees, with Odsonne Eduoard Celtic's record arrival at £9m. Tore Andre Flo at £12m is Rangers' most expensive transfer, and if Wolves are to recoup anything from Silva, they may have to hope that clubs with bigger pockets come in for him.
Silva has been limited to 10 appearances this season, and most of them have come from the bench. He hasn't played a league match since coming on as a substitute in the 2-1 defeat to Sheffield United in November. The Portugal under-21 international is under contract until the summer of 2026, and to date has made 72 appearances for Wolves with five goals and six assists.

Hide AdSilva isn't the only player that has been linked with a move away, with 2022 summer arrival Sasa Kalajdzic also touted for a possible departure. Clubs in the Premier League and the Bundesliga are both considering making a move for the Austrian international according to Christopher Michel, a journalist for German broadcaster Sport 1. Eintracht Frankfurt are one of the clubs that has been touted as a possible destination.
The 26-year-old joined from Vfb Stuttgart for a reported £15.4m, but had the worst possible start after suffering an ACL injury in his first match. He has made 13 appearances this season, with three goals and an assist in all competitions.
Kalajdzic hasn't featured in the last three games and has been an unused substitute in those matches. He's made just one league start this term and that came against Sheffield United, whilst his other 10 league outings have been off the bench.
