This includes West Midlands sides Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion, who have both seen high figures - even despite the latter’s disappointing start to the season.
Birmingham have been a real surprise package this campaign and currently sit in 13th place as the World Cup gets underway. With 20 goals conceded in 21 games, Blues have maintained the equal third-best defence in the entire division.
West Brom, meanwhile, have really struggled and are above the relegation zone on goal difference alone. There has been a strong revival, though, since Carlos Corberan replaced Steve Bruce in the Hawthorns dugout. Since the Spaniard came in, the Baggies have won three out of their four games.
