Watch: West Brom reporter Lewis Cox's video update ahead of EFL Cup tie at Newcastle

Albion are in the north east for a Wednesday-Saturday double-header on the road.

James Morrison’s men tackle Premier League outfit Newcastle United in the second round of the EFL Cup on Wednesday night before the weekend’s clash against Middlesbrough.

It has been a challenging week in terms of logistics for the Baggies, who will stay at a base in the north east, near to Morrison’s hometown of Darlington and his family.

The close nature of the two clashes, separated by around 62 hours, is also testing for Morrison’s relatively thin squad and the head coach will have to make his selections accordingly.
