Team news

Okay Yokuslu could be in line to make his West Brom debut against the Hornets.

The Turkish international is apparently way ahead of schedule in terms of fitness and after initially being expected to be unavailable for the first few weeks - could get minutes as early as Monday night.

Away from that and Albion have a full bill of health ahead of the game. Jake Livermore overcame illness to feature in the draw with Middlesbrough and there are no other bumps and bruises to report.

Watford have two new signings to call upon should they wish in Rey Manaj and Vakoun Issouf Bayo but like Albion, have no fresh injury concerns following their opening day win.

Head-to-head record

Albion haven’t got the greatest record against the Hornets in recent years and have just one win to their name since 2009.

With the two often passing each other between promotion and relegation, they haven’t actually faced off in competitive action since 2018. A 2-2 draw and a 1-0 defeat for Albion in the 17/18 Premier League season.

The Baggies last win came back in December 2016, a 3-1 victory at the Hawthorns - Jonny Evans, Chris Brunt and Matty Phillips the scorers on the day.
