West Brom are back in action at the Hawthorns on Tuesday evening for the second time in three days.

Valerien Ismael will be hoping his side can get back to winning ways following a below-par performance which saw them draw 1-1 to Milwall at the weekend.

Derby County are the team tasked with stopping them from doing just that and following a 2-0 defeat to Birmingham City last Friday, Wayne Rooney will also be keen for his side to bounce back.

When is the game?

The Baggies host the Rams on Tuesday evening in an 20:00 kick-off. It is one of six Championship fixtures which are taking place on the night.

Where can I watch it?

If you’re not able to get down to the Hawthorns on Tuesday, the game will be shown live on Sky Sports Football via the red button. All six fixtures will be available to watch through this feature, or alternatively you can watch with the Sky Go app.

Team news

There are no fresh injury concerns for West Brom to report but last year’s young player of the year Dara O’Shea did provide an update following the fractured ankle he suffered whilst on international duty with Republic of Ireland. On Monday he posted on his Instagram story ‘operation done’ with a tick emoji - so fingers crossed for Baggies fans that he is now well on the way to a speedy recovery.

For Derby County, they are boosted by the return of Polish winger Kamil Jozwiak, whereas Wayne Rooney has stated that Jason Knight is now also fit to start the match.

The Baggies remain unbeaten in the Championship with their only defeat over the last games coming against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup.

The Rams on the other hand have very turbulent form over the last six but they have shown they have a team that does pose quality and fight during a difficult time in Derbyshire. Ismael’s team go into this one favourites and rightly so - but don’t expect it to be an easy ride.

Head-to-head record

If there’s a bogey team for West Brom, Derby County make a good case for it being them. The Baggies have only won three of the last 10 matches in which the sides have faced off, with just two draws and the Rams taking the other five.

West Brom do hold the recent advantage though, winning the last match-up 2-0 back in July 2020. Goals that day coming from Grady Diangana and Dara O’Shea at the Hawthorns. A repeat result of that on Tuesday evening certainly wouldn’t go amiss.

Other ways to keep up to date
