West Browich Albion are still searching for their first win of the 2022/23 Championship campaign following a 0-0 draw with Cardiff City on Wednesday evening.
The Baggies racked up 13 shots but again lacked the all important cutting-edge to convert those attempts into goals.

Albion started well as they have in recent weeks but, again, as they have in recent weeks, struggled to create anything of real note.
And it was Cardiff who very nearly capitalised on that when Sheyi Ojo went close to opening the scoring just before the break.
The former Liverpool man was laid off by Aston Villa loanee Jaden Philogene-Bidace but fired just wide with David Button rooted to the spot.
Cardiff improved after the break but it was otherwise more of the same. The Baggies bossing the majority of the possession but struggling to create much in front of goal.

Ajayi nearly won it in stoppage time when he got on the end of a superb Callum Robinson cross but Allsop got down brilliantly to his left and kept him out.
It’s now four games without a win to start the Championship season for Albion.
