West Bromwich Albion will be yearning to put an end to their EFL Championship winless streak as they take on Preston North End at Deepdale on Saturday.
Quite the mountainous task lays ahead to do so, however, as the Lilywhites are the only remaining unbeaten team in the entirety of the English second tier.
With six victories and two draws, Ryan Lowe’s side have been one of the big surprise packages of the season so far. Only Leicester City and Ipswich Town have more points.
The Baggies, on the other hand, have drawn their last three league fixtures and started September with a 2-1 surprise defeat to Neil Warnock’s Huddersfield Town.
Struggling down in 13th position, Albion need to get up to speed as soon as possible otherwise the play-off fight could become more of an uphill battle than it already is.
