The confirmed lineups for West Bromwich Albion vs Blackburn Rovers in the Championship.

Tony Mowbray and stand-in Blackburn boss David Lowe have named their starting lineups and substitutes for this evening’s Championship clash at The Hawthorns. The usual Rovers manager, John Eustace, is absent tonight as talks continue over his likely departure for Derby County.

Kick-off is fast approaching for what is a vitally important tie for both teams. West Brom, fifth in the league standings, are currently two points above sixth-placed Blackburn and could create a nice cushion with a victory tonight. Rovers could leapfrog Albion with a win of their own, though, so the result is pivotal.

Middlesbrough, in seventh and with a game in hand, will be watching on closely though they’ve got a task of their own as Michael Carrick’s men travel away to title challengers Sheffield United this evening. A surprise three points for Boro could really throw the cat among the pigeons, especially if West Brom lose to Blackburn.

Mowbray has opted for three changes from the starting XI that beat Sheffield Wednesday last time out, with Mason Holgate, Tom Fellows and Mikey Johnston coming in for Kyle Bartley, Grady Diangana and Karlan Grant. Rovers, meanwhile, have swapped out one of the starters who lost 2-1 to Queens Park Rangers in their last league outing.
