The biggest news of the evening however comes in the shape of Sam Johnstone.
Johnstone, who was meant to return from his own respective suspension this evening not only finds himself not reinstated to the eleven but without a place in the squad at all.
Unless he has picked up a knock that we haven’t heard about, it very much looks like his time at the Hawthorns is coming to an end.
So, it’s David Button that retains his place in the sticks with Darnell Furlong, Cedric Kipre, Kyle Bartley and Conor Townsend looking like they make up a back four.
