Hide AdPerformances have improved for the most part and the new signings have certainly bettered the squad as a whole but struggles in front of goal remain a recurring theme for this Albion side.
Cardiff will go into the game full of confidence after they were able to land all three points against West Brom’s West Midlands rivals Birmingham City on Saturday.
Here’s the line-up BirminghamWorld believe Steve Bruce will field to cement those first three points of the season at the Hawthorns.
GK - David Button
Isn’t filling Albion fans with the greatest of confidence - will need to up his game to keep his place.
RB - Darnell Furlong

CB - Semi Ajayi
Formed a good partnership with O’Shea. Position is probably his for now.
CB - Dara O’Shea
One of the first names on the team-sheet, it seems, for Bruce.
LB - Conor Townsend
Nailed on to keep the left-back spot.
CM - Okay Yokuslu
Yokuslu is yet to start a league fixture as he continues getting up to speed but tonight may well be the night that changes.
CM - Jayson Molumby

Hide AdOffers more than Jake Livermore in the role and therefore think it will be Livermore that drops to the bench in favour of Yokuslu.
RM - Jed Wallace
A standout player since his arrival from Millwall.
CAM - John Swift
Like Wallace, Swift has cemented himself as a firm starter following his summer transfer.
LM - Grady Diangana
Rewarded the manager with a goal after he was given the start against Blackburn - expect him to have earned another go from the off.
ST - Karlan Grant
Albion’s top scorer in the early stages of the season. Has little competition for his place at current but that’s not to take away from his solid form.
