‘Sloppy’ defender axed as Corberan commits to midfield switch - West Brom predicted XI gallery v QPR

Here’s how we predict West Bromwich Albion to line up against Queens Park Rangers in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday.

West Bromwich Albion take on another Sky Bet Championship fixture just three days after their last as Queens Park Rangers make the trip to The Hawthorns on Tuesday evening. Carlos Corberan’s side will be eager to shift the momentum back in their favour after two successive matches without a victory.

The Baggies, managing just two shots on target, were held to a 0-0 draw by the newly-promoted Plymouth Argyle last time out. Improvement is needed up top but the options are few and far between with injuries taking hold. Some shifts could be made in defence, though, to help the early stages of attacks.

There’s bound to be an improvement – or at least you’d hope so – against a relegation-threatened team, especially on home soil once again. With that in mind, here’s the starting lineup we think Corberan could go with against 22nd-placed QPR, as well as brief explanations for each player included.
