Carlos Corberan drops ‘struggling’ forward as ‘exciting’ winger starts - West Brom predicted XI v Ipswich Town

Here’s how we predict West Bromwich Albion to line up against Ipswich Town in the Sky Bet Championship.

West Bromwich Albion have the opportunity to gain up to a seven-point buffer in the Sky Bet Championship play-off spots as they challenge Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon.

Travelling to Portman Road, Carlos Corberan and his men will be keen to eradicate the away day hoodoo that has gripped them for much of this season and last. The Baggies sit 17th in the Championship away table this term, with just four wins in 14 matches on the road.

The last three trips have ended in severe disappointment as defeats were inflicted by Norwich City, Swansea City and Middlesbrough. Albion didn't score a single goal in those three games, either, giving the travelling Baggies nothing to celebrate.

An opportunity awaits for West Brom to put right their wrongs as they take on Ipswich but it will be tricky as the Tractor Boys will see this as a must-win. Kieran McKenna's side, who have only tasted victory once in their last five matches, have dropped to fourth place and need three points desperately to keep their automatic promotion hopes alive.

Albion have been successful when using a 4-2-3-1 formation recently. There could be a change or two in attack, however, as Corberan looks to end his side's goalscoring woes away from The Hawthorns. With that in mind, here's the XI we predict will be named on Saturday.
