Corberan axes ‘out-of-sorts’ forward as Swift learns new role - West Brom predicted XI v Huddersfield - gallery
Here’s how we predict West Bromwich Albion to line up against Huddersfield Town in the Championship on Saturday.
West Bromwich Albion are on home soil once again as they take on relegation battlers Huddersfield Town at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.
Carlos Corberan’s side started the season poorly but have rekindled some form with two wins and a draw in their last three matches, soaring up to seventh in the Championship.
There are concerns over the number of goals being conceded but a good opportunity awaits to earn a much-needed clean sheet as Huddersfield aren’t exactly firing.
Neil Warnock’s men have scored just one goal in their opening three matches and sit in 23rd position with the worst goal difference in the entire division.
As there’s quite the disparity in quality, we think it’s a good time for Corberan to experiment slightly with his attacking options while still respecting the opposition.
With that in mind, here are the 11 players we reckon will start for West Brom this weekend, as well as brief explanations for each inclusion.

1. GK - Alex Palmer
Conceding plenty of goals but isn’t expected to lose his spot anytime soon.

2. CB - Semi Ajayi
Still not quite how he used to be and definitely has a mistake in him but has done enough to stay in the side.

3. CB - Cedric Kipre
Bounced back after criticism with a goal and some real confidence stepping out from the back.

4. CB - Erik Pieters
Has proven over the last few weeks, despite the goals conceded, that his experience at the back is vital.
