New role for Grady Diangana as Corberan makes John Swift call - West Brom predicted XI v Cardiff City

Here’s how we predict West Bromwich Albion to line up against Cardiff City in the Championship.

West Bromwich Albion head out on the road midweek as they take on fellow Championship play-off hopefuls Cardiff City on Tuesday evening. Facing yet another vital fixture in the top six race, Carlos Corberan and his men are in brilliant shape and will be buoyant following four wins in their last five.

The Bluebirds, meanwhile, are two spots and two places below West Brom after claiming 10 points out of the last 15 available. Erol Bulut's men won in dramatic style last time out as they scored in the 96th and 99th minutes to turn things around away at high-flying Preston North End, but face an even tougher game this time around.

Albion have enjoyed a lot of success switching to a back four of late and we think that trend will continue, even with the returns of John Swift and Josh Maja from injury. With that in mind, here are the 11 players we think Corberan will start on Tuesday.
