Jed Wallace injury call made as Carlos Corberan braves formation change - West Brom predicted XI vs Blackburn

Here’s how we predict West Bromwich Albion to line up against Blackburn Rovers in the Sky Bet Championship.

West Bromwich Albion return to Sky Bet Championship action on Saturday afternoon as they play host to Blackburn Rovers at The Hawthorns.

Carlos Corberan's side will be refreshed and raring to go for this one after some heavy rotation in the Emirates FA Cup win over Aldershot Town last week. That game and full five days of preparation since have offered some reprieve after an incredibly busy fixture schedule over Christmas.

It's a good time to play Blackburn, too, as Jon Dahl Tomasson's side are without a win in their last five Championship outings. Confidence will have been taken from the 5-2 FA Cup victory over Cambridge United, but performances in the English second tier have been below par of late.

Corberan has quite the selection headache ahead of this weekend's clash as several players are injured and there's a noticeable lack of wingers available. This could lead to a formation change, perhaps to a back three to provide width from wing-backs instead.

With all of that in mind, here's how Birmingham World reckons West Brom will line up against Blackburn.
