West Brom predicted line-up for Championship opener against Middlesbrough as Jake Livermore a doubt

We’re back and ready to do it all over again starting tomorrow!

West Bromwich Albion’s 2022/23 Championship campaign gets underway on Saturday evening with an incredibly tough trip to fellow promotion favourites, Middlesbrough.

It’s the start of the first full season under the stewardship of manager Steve Bruce and fans and pundits alike are expecting a much stronger outcome to this one than the last.

Albion have added Jed Wallace and John Swift to their ranks ahead of this year, both of whom have been highly impressive throughout pre-season.

Jayson Molumby signed a permanent deal after spending the last campaign on loan and most recently Okay Yokuslu put pen-to-paper following his release from Celta Vigo.

The most important signing of the lot however could come in the shape of one that was already here last year, Daryl Dike.

The American forward suffered an injury-hit first season at the Hawthorns and Albion desperately missed a goalscorer of his stature throughout the entirety of last year.

If he stays fit, he could very well prove to be the difference between another below-par year and promotion.

Fans will be hoping he gets the nod from the off on Saturday evening but who else could suit up with him?

Here’s the team we think Bruce may go with in order to get the job done on Teesside.
