Carlos Corberan and Neil Harris face both having to make some selection decisions with injuries for West Brom and Millwall.

West Brom hope to put things right when they host Millwall at the Hawthorns in the EFL Championship on Saturday (October 5).

The Baggies after going the first part of the campaign unbeaten have suffered back-to-back defeats to Sheffield Wednesday and Middlesbrough. Hayden Hackney scored in the final quarter of the match for the Boro, as WBA's unbeaten record at home was ended.

They come up against a Millwall side that gave Cardiff City their first win of the season. Perry Ng scored the only goal of the game as the men from South London were defeated. Millwall did have some chances to equalise with Duncan Watmore denied, and an effort cleared off the line, but they couldn’t find a breakthrough.

West Brom team news

Grady Diangana is doubtful for this weekend's clash after sitting out of things against Middlesbrough. He suffered a shoulder injury against Sheffield Wednesday, and thankfully it's not too serious, but it might be enough to prevent him from playing against Millwall.

"Grady unfortunately suffered a foul where he had a problem with the shoulder,” said Corberan, via the Express & Star.

“He couldn’t be ready to compete.

"It is in the other shoulder.

“Unfortunately in the beginning he had the problem with the calf, then one shoulder and now the other one and he couldn't get his normal rhythm.

"It looks like it is less serious than the serious one but he is still a doubt for Saturday.

"We know he's an important player, without any doubt, we need everyone fit and in the best level."

Daryl Dike is the only other absentee. The USA international is recovering from an Achilles injury that he suffered in February. Dike could make a return to action in the next two months.

Out: Daryl Dike. Doubt: Grady Diangana.

Millwall team news

The visitors will be without six players, owing to injuries and suspensions. Adam Mayor has been sidelined for the last couple of months having picked up a hamstring issue before pre-season.

Midfielder Billy Mitchell has missed the beginning of the season after picking up a thigh injury. Summer arrival Josh Coburn meanwhile is out for the next six to eight weeks after suffering a calf injury against Luton Town in mid-September.

Tom Bradshaw suffered a hamstring injury against Leyton Orient in the Carabao Cup, and Neil Harris said he would be out for the next 10 weeks from the start of September. Shaun Hutchinson has recently joined the injury list after missing the defeat to Cardiff City.

Aidomo Emakhu was given a three-match suspension for his red card in the latter stages of a 3-1 win over Preston North End. Emakhu had a coming together with Robbie Brady, but Millwall decided not to appeal against the decision. Millwall will have Ryan Wintle to choose from again after he was forced to sit things out against Cardiff, because they are his parent club.

Speaking to London News Online, Neil Harris said: "None of the current injured lads will be available till after the international break.

“Billy, Adam, Josh, Tom Bradshaw and Shaun Hutchinson has joined that group now, unfortunately. Aidomo is suspended as well – so no-one will be available for the weekend.”

Adam Mayor has been sidelined for the last couple of months having picked up a hamstring issue before pre-season.

Out: Adam Mayor, Aidomo Emakhu, Billy Mitchell, Josh Coburn, Shaun Hutchinson, and Tom Bradshaw.
