West Brom could recall defender Caleb Taylor from his loan spell at Wycombe Wanderers to address their current injury problems.
Academy graduate Taylor is currently out on loan at Wycombe Wanderers, but they are unable to recall him. He has been playing regularly for the Chairboys, but respected Baggies insider EyaWeGew has claimed that conversations have been had with the League One outfit about recalling him in January.

His loan at Adam's Park is due to expire at the end of the campaign, but it appears that there is a recall option in his contract. Taylor to date has played nine games for Wycombe, keeping two clean sheets, and so far he is yet to taste defeat with them.
Wycombe were in FA Cup action against York City at the weekend, but Taylor wasn’t a part of their match day squad, despite featuring in their last nine matches. Should he not play against Wealdstone at the end of the month, then he would be eligible to play for West Brom in the competition if he is recalled.
January is still a long way off though and there are 12 games to play with a lack of central defensive options. Against Luton Town, Carlos Corberan opted to go with a partnership of Torbjorn Heggem and Mason Holgate with Callum Styles acting as a left-back.

Semi Ajayi is sidelined until February, Paddy McNair may have played his last game for the club, and Kyle Bartley will either be back at the end of the month, or the middle of December.
Paddy McNair’s loan from San Diego expires at the end of December, and he will report to the MLS club for pre-season, and so a defensive reinforcement was needed when the window opened anyway. His move to the States, frees up a loan spot in the squad, with EFL rules stating that no more than five players are permitted to make a match day squad.
According to the EFL’s squad lists that they published in September, there is a space left for West Brom to register a senior player. In essence, it means they could sign a free agent, should the situation get any worse.
