West Brom are reportedly keeping tabs on highly-rated Motherwell defender Max Johnston. The right-back has caught the eye playing in the Scottish Premiership this season and appears to be a man in-demand. According to a report by the Scottish Sun, the Baggies have sent scouts to watch him in action along with representatives from Luton Town, Norwich City and Blackburn Rovers.

Sunderland youngster could leave

Sunderland could let young centre-back Joe Anderson head out on loan next season. The 22-year-old made the switch to the North East in January from Everton. His boss Tony Mowbray has told the Northern Echo: “For me, he’s a centre-half in the same mould as players from my previous club like Scott Wharton and Hayden Carter – young defenders that I sent out on loan to Portsmouth and Cambridge, and then they came back and played in the first team every week.

“They go and grow that muscle, they get experience, they come back with a couple of tattoos – you know what I mean, they’re turning into men.”

Blackburn Rovers contract latest

Blackburn Rovers have already made decisions regarding the futures of their soon-to-be out of contract players, as per the Lancashire Telegraph. The Lancashire outfit have already told those who will be leaving the club this summer.
