West Brom's FC 25 player faces in full as Karlan Grant spot on but others need some work

West Brom are on the latest edition of FC 25, the latest edition of EA Sports’ popular franchise - and here’s how the players look.

Gamers are starting to get a look at the West Brom players ahead of the release of EA Sports' FC 25, following the game's but there are some questionable face scans in the squad.

FC 25 is due to release to the public on Friday, September 27, 2024, but for those who wanted to get the edge on their mates, some bought the Ultimate Edition, which allowed them access seven days in advance. They have had unrestricted access to the several difference game modes including Rush, which is similar to the iconic FIFA Street franchise which was popular during the days of the PS2.

FC was the best selling game in the UK last year, having sold 2.25m copies according to the Digital Entertainment and Retail Association. The franchise used to be called FIFA, but the two organisations couldn't extend their current deal. FC 25 is the market leader, but they do have competition from eFootball, which was previously known as Pro Evolution Soccer, as well as UFL (United Football League) which has the backing of Al Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo.

EA FC 25 is fully out this week though, and once again the game has the Hawthorns, and the current home kits. It's also updated the squads, and so all of the summer transfer business is reflected within the game. The player ratings came out earlier this month, and Daryl Dike expressed his disappointment at his pace attribute decreasing.

With new players coming in, gamers always want as close to real life as possible, and for some players that is the case. EA Sports has some equipment which scans the faces of players, but that's usually reserved for clubs playing in a top-flight league.

It's only been a few years since West Brom dropped out of the Premier League but a lot has changed since then, so the squad is a little different, and only a few have their likeness on there. To make up for not having their player faces scanned, EA try and make them look like their real life counterparts as much as they can, but in some cases there are limitations.
