A story suggesting that Premier League side Everton have had a £10m bid for West Bromwich Albion winger Tom Fellows accepted are “not accurate”, according to reports.
Everton hold a long-standing interest in 21-year-old Fellows, who has made 29 appearances for the Baggies in all competitions this season, and journalist Alan Nixon has claimed that the Toffees have launched a deadline day bid for the player and that West Brom have accepted their offer.

West Brom rejected a bid for Fellows worth around £12m from Southampton last summer, and are reluctant to part with a highly talented midfielder who still has more than two years left on his current contract at the Hawthorns.
Fellows in demand but £10m unlikely to be enough
Since making his debut in August 2021, Fellows has gradually established himself as one of West Brom’s brightest academy products, making 65 league appearances and becoming a first-team regular over the past two seasons.
He made his debut for the Under-21 national side against Northern Ireland last September and scored his first international goal against Austria three days later.

It is unlikely that an offer in the region of £10m would be sufficient to force West Brom’s hand, although there has yet to be any official confirmation of a bid or of any response from the club.
West Brom braced for difficult deadline day
Even if Fellows stays at the Hawthorns, it is unlikely that Monday night’s transfer deadline will pass without any painful departures. First-choice goalkeeper Alex Palmer is currently undergoing a medical ahead of a move to Ipswich Town for a fee which is believed to be worth as much as £5m.
That means that West Brom could be looking for a last-minute replacement, although reports have suggested that they could recall 23-year-old shot stopper Josh Griffiths from his loan spell at Bristol Rovers to help fill the void.

In more positive news, the club are hoping to complete a deal worth up to £3.3m for promising Danish forward Tammer Bany, who currently plays for Randers in his home country and can operate anywhere across a front three or as a number ten. There have also been rumours linking the club with a loan move for Southampton striker Adam Armstrong, although it remains unclear as to whether there is anything concrete behind them. Either way, it remains likely that Tony Mowbray’s team will be busy before the window slams shut at 11pm.
