The beginning of the new Championship season brings plenty of excitement and bags of intrigue for West Brom fans as they prepare to see how the team will shape up under the stewardship of new manager Ryan Mason.
Nobody knows quite what to expect from Mason as he enters the world of professional management for the first time and many are curious to see what new ideas he brings to the club after learning from the likes of Jose Mourinho, Antonio Conte and Ange Postecogolou as a coach at Tottenham Hotspur.
West Brom finished in ninth position last term in an underwhelming campaign which saw the team pick up just 64 points - marking the Baggies lowest points tally since beating the drop in 1999/2000. They’ll hope to do much better with Mason at the helm but are more than aware of the huge task in front of them, with the likes of Ipswich Town, Southampton and Leicester City looking to bounce back to the big time after relegation last year.
There’s also likely to be big competition from Midlands rivals Birmingham City, fellow promoted side Wrexham and of course many of the usual suspects such as Sheffield United, Coventry City and Norwich City. With that in mind, we take a look at the latest Championship predicted table from the bookmakers at SkyBet and how they see things panning out. Starting from the bottom of the division and building our way up to the top.
