The 32-year-old is free to speak to any clubs after being made a free agent. He was released by Bristol City and is now on the hunt for the seventh club of his senior career.
As he is a free agent, there is no rush for him to make a decision on his future but ideally the situation would be sorted sooner rather than later.
He has been away on international duty with Austria at EURO 2024. Weimann made an appearance off the bench in their 3-2 win over the Netherlands, but was an unused substitute in their other three matches.

Pieters featured for the Hatters in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Stevenage on Tuesday (July 9). The 35-year-old is weighing up his options and should he do enough to earn a deal at Kenilworth Road, then he could line up against his former employers this season.
West Brom face Luton Town in Bedfordshire on November 2 before hosting them at the Hawthorns on May 3, 2025. Pieters was on the books of West Brom from 2022 to 2024.
The Dutch defender made 61 appearances across all competitions in the two years he spent with WBA. He featured in 25 games last season, as Carlos Corberan’s men finished fifth in the Championship.
